- Red Cross Month Celebrated by Mt Baker Chapter
ISABELLE DILLS; THE BELLINGHAM HERALD Published: 03/04/1011:27 am

March is Red Cross Month and the Mt. Baker Chapter of the American Red Cross has planned several events to celebrate.

"Red Cross Live," a free one-hour program showcasing services the Red Cross provides, will be presented from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, at 2111 King St., and will recur at the same time and place the second Wednesday of each month. Lunch is included; there is no request for financial support.

The chapter also will hold a monthlong "Help Fill the Emergency Response Vehicles (ERV)" campaign, with an all-day live broadcast with Cascade Radio Group on Friday, March 26, at Sleep Masters, 4220 Meridian St. Every person who donates $100 or more will be entered in a drawing to win two round-trip tickets from Bellingham to Las Vegas.

For details and a full list of Red Cross events planned for March, see mtbredcross.org/.
