The Mass Care Action Team team responds to the needs of rescue workers, police, firefighters, sandbaggers, mountain rescuers, Department of Emergency Management personnel, community members who are victims of disaster, and others.

The team provides snacks and water, and in extended disasters, hot meals, sandwiches, soup, and other beverages.

Team members are trained in proper food handling and mass feeding techniques.
